I was We were (I have an identical twin sister) born on the same day that Prince Charles nearly died because of an avalanche in a Swiss ski resort. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (magna cum laude) from Messiah College. I’m also a registered Psychometrician. I’ve always loved learning and that made teaching a very logical next step. I’m working as a college instructor in Messiah College and as a board review instructor. When I have time to spare, I make jewelry and art pieces out of clay which I sell on my Facebook page and Etsy shop.
Finding out that I ranked first in the October 2013 Civil Service Examination came as a surprise to me. I asked God to help me pass the exam, but I didn’t expect Him to bless me with that much. My twin sister ranked fourth and that was yet another blessing we didn’t expect. Thinking on the reason why God chose to give me that position, I knew that it wasn’t just for me. I was blessed to be a blessing. That’s why I started Team Lyqa.
I’ve had the privilege of learning from some of the best teachers and professors that the world has to offer and topping the exam would’ve been impossible without them. This is my way of giving back. In the same way that I learned from others, I hope to teach others and inspire them to love learning as much as, or even more than, I do.
